CM Issues Directives for Immediate Resolution of Drinking Water Issues and Mobile Connectivity

Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai held an interactive meeting with villagers during his surprise visit to Kushaha village in Sonhat block of Koriya district under the ‘Sushasan Tihar’ initiative on May 21. During the chaupal, held under the shade of mango and peepal trees, the Chief Minister interacted warmly with the villagers and listened to their concerns about basic public services and development needs.

During the interaction, villagers offered local seasonal fruits, including tendu, satalu, char, and litchi, to the Chief Minister. Shri Sai appreciated the region’s rich rural traditions and local culture.

The Chief Minister sought detailed information from villagers regarding the availability of electricity, drinking water, education, ration distribution, housing facilities, and roads.

Villagers informed the Chief Minister about difficulties related to drinking water supply and weak mobile network connectivity in the area. Taking immediate note of the concerns, CM Shri Sai directed the concerned officials to take prompt action and stated that initiatives would soon be undertaken to install mobile towers in the region.

Villagers informed him that they are receiving ration supplies and tendupatta collection payments on time.

During the chaupal, villagers also demanded the construction of roads and culverts under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. They requested the opening of a higher secondary school in the village. The Chief Minister assured the villagers that all their demands would be addressed very soon.
