Women beneficiaries credit Mahtari Vandan Yojana for easing household financial stress
Raipur May 22, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday interacted with women beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana during a Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Shivir held at Karhibazar in Balodabazar district, where several women shared how the scheme is helping them support their children’s education, household needs and future savings.
The beneficiaries said the monthly financial assistance under the scheme has strengthened their confidence and provided economic stability to families dependent on daily wage labour.
Smt. Rukhamani Pal told Chief Minister that her husband Shri Dileshwar Pal works as a labourer and the family has limited income. She said the assistance received under the scheme is being saved for the future of her two daughters and has helped meet educational and essential household expenses.
Another beneficiary, Smt. Dhanmata Pal, said she receives ₹1,000 every month under the scheme. Her husband Shri Horilal Pal also works as a labourer. She said the amount is being deposited in the names of her two children to support their future education and other needs. The scheme has reduced financial stress within the family and encouraged savings for the future.
The women beneficiaries thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the state government, stating the Mahtari Vandan Yojana is becoming a source of financial security, dignity and self-reliance for women across the state.
