A delegation of the Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association, led by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at the Assembly on Thursday.
They expressed gratitude for the Cabinet’s decision to allot 5 acres of land at concessional rates for a modern sports ground and a state-of-the-art cricket academy at Suryamukhi Devi Rajgami Estate. The initiative will boost training facilities and open new opportunities for local talent.
Dr. Raman Singh hailed Chief Minister Shri Sai for the swift decision, stating it will enable construction of a modern stadium and provide better platforms, especially for tribal youth, to excel at the national level.
MLA Shri Dharam Lal Kaushik, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, MLA Shri Lalit Chandrakar, General Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association Shri Vikram Sisodiya, and Secretary of the Rajnandgaon District Cricket Association Shri Yogesh Bagdi were present.
