CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Expresses Gratitude to PM Shri Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw to develop Homing Facility for 250 locomotive in Raipur
Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving a Rs. 175 crore project to develop additional homing facilities for 250 electric locomotives in Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the leadership of the double-engine government, railway infrastructure in Chhattisgarh is being strengthened at an unprecedented pace. He described the project approved by the Central Government as a significant step towards making the state’s railway network more modern and efficient.
The Chief Minister said that the project will substantially enhance the maintenance capacity for electric locomotives in Raipur. It will also improve the efficiency of freight and passenger transportation while strengthening railway operations. He added that the project will further reinforce railway infrastructure to meet future transportation requirements.
Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed confidence that the project will play an important role in establishing Chhattisgarh as one of the country’s leading railway, industrial and logistics hubs. He said that it will also accelerate the state’s journey towards building a developed Chhattisgarh in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
