Interacts with students, asks about sports, studies and daily routine
Raipur, May 3, 2026/ An unscripted moment marked Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s visit to Bhaisamuda village in Jashpur district as a part of Sushasan Tihar, when he walked into the premises of Government Primary School, Chandagarh, and found children playing cricket.
Drawn by their enthusiasm, Chief Minister stepped onto the field and joined the game. His presence lifted the mood, and the children responded with visible excitement as they played alongside him.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Shri Sai spoke to the children about their daily routine, studies and interest in sports. He asked whether they played regularly and which games they preferred. He also enquired availability of sports facilities in the area and the need for additional resources.
He interacted with a local player, Prakash Thakur, to get a sense of sports activity at the village level and the challenges faced.
Noting the children’s interest in sports, Chief Minister directed the Collector to provide cricket kits and sports uniforms for the students. He said children in rural areas should have access to adequate facilities so they can develop their abilities and pursue opportunities.
He also spoke with Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Shri Roshan Pratap Singh about the village’s needs, ongoing development works and local priorities. He said efforts should ensure balanced progress in basic amenities, education and sports.
The visit went beyond a routine inspection, with Chief Minister’s interaction with children leaving a positive impression on villagers. The brief engagement reflected the value of direct contact at the grassroots level, where governance is seen not only through schemes but also through everyday interactions.
